DHANATRYODASHI (DHANA-TRYO-DASHI) & YAM-DEEP DAAN
Wat is DHANATRYODASHI ?It comes 2 or 3 days before Diwali.
Yam-deep daan also falls on the same day as that of Dhanatryodashi (also called as Dhanteras).
Wat is Yam-deep-daan ?????
Yam-deep daan means offering diyaas to 'yamraaj' .
IMPORTANT:
On this day (Yam-deep-daan) ,the oil lamps should be kept facing in the SOUTH direction.
During Deepawali,the oil lamps should face in all the directions (take a plate n arrange oil-lamps in the east,west,north & the south direction) .
